Thomas Hammond, Sr. -- or Brother T, as the boys call him -- is the Outpost Coordinator for the Royal Rangers Outpost 222. As a Royal Ranger growing up he earned the Gold Medal of Achievement. After earning the GMA he attended the Leadership Training Course and earned his Leaders Medal of Achievement. Brother T also went to Junior Leadership Training Camp and attended the pilot for the Advanced Junior Leadership Training Camp. He has also served on Staff for JLTC and JTC. He is also a member of the Frontier Camping Fellowship (FCF). Over the years he has served the local outpost, section, and division as a Senior Patrol Guide, Junior Commander, Junior Guide, and Deputy Section Commander.
As the father of two sons he has a great desire to further the Royal Rangers mission to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. We do this through different medium in the local outpost meeting and in the camping and outdoor activities. We offer Color Guard, Junior Training Camp (JTC), FCF, other junior training camps, shooting sports, first aid and CPR, woodland skills, and various team building activities. We train young boys to be men, to carry the Light of the Gospel to a lost world and in turn be a productive citizen for their generation.
